Here’s how to lock computer from Android.

What You Will Need:

  • Lock My Computer Desktop App
  • Lock My Computer Android app

First, download the Lock My Computer desktop app. You will need to make sure that you have java installed on your computer for it to run. When you launch it, Windows might prompt you to allow it Internet access, click allow. Then hit start service. It will open up a port that you will connect to from your phone (take note of the port number).

You will also need to know your computer’s ip address. To find it out go to command prompt and type in “ipconfig”. It will display your ip address under ip4 or ip6 address.

Finally, download the app from the Play Store. Go into settings and type in your ip address and port number and hit save. Make sure that your phone and computer are on the same wifi network. When you tap lock, your computer should lock.
